This policy applies to chiarabucciantonio.ch and explains what happens to your data when you use the booking form or contact this business. It is written to comply with the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP), in force since 1 September 2023, and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where it applies to visitors located in the EU.
What We Collect
When you submit a booking request or enquiry, we collect: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), preferred date, guest count, location/address, menu preferences, and any message you include. We do not collect payment information through this website — payment, once introduced, is handled via a separate secure provider (Stripe) and is never stored on this site directly.
Why We Collect It
Solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a tailored quote, and deliver the private chef service you've requested. We do not use this data for marketing without your separate, explicit consent, and we do not sell or share it with third parties beyond the processors listed below.
Third-Party Processors
This site is hosted on Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.), which also provides bot/spam protection for the booking form. Transactional emails (booking confirmations and notifications) are sent via Resend. Both providers act as data processors on our behalf and are contractually bound to appropriate data protection standards.
Retention
Booking and enquiry data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfil your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting/legal purposes, after which it is deleted.
Your Rights
Under the nFADP and GDPR, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and to object to its processing. To exercise these rights, contact hello@chiarabucciantonio.ch.
Cookies
This site does not use non-essential tracking cookies. Should analytics or marketing cookies be introduced in future, a consent banner will be added — opt-in for EU visitors per GDPR, opt-out for Swiss visitors per the nFADP's default.
Enforcement Body
For Switzerland: the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC/EDÖB), edoeb.admin.ch.
